Nazarbayev University's Response to Generative Artificial Intelligence in Learning and Teaching

Abstract

This document provides guidance to the university community about the ways in which AI can and should be used for learning and teaching purposes. In this sense, the document outlines a strategy that the NU community has adopted. The Response was approved by NU Learning and Teaching Committee and NU Academic Council. The document outlines principles for the use of AI, recommends practices to be implemented by schools and provides information about best practices for the declaration and acknowledgement of AI
